Hi Kartel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Kartel Stylez, I mostly go by Stylez. I am a local tattoo artist/custom artist. For the last couple of years, I have been transitioning from a tattoo artist to a custom celebrity fashion designer. Towards the beginning of my custom art career, I linked with local rapper Tech N9ne. Soon after Tech N9ne, I linked with the Mahomes family, I did custom paintings for Pat Mahomes, custom jackets for Mia and Randi Mahomes. Soon after, I got a call from Hy-vee Arena to paint the Olympic weight room for Olympic star Muna Lee. Being a featured artist at the world's largest indoor graffiti wall, also landed me a few jobs with local news stations with my murals of Patrick Mahomes along with the Kansas City Chiefs home opener commercial for the 2021-2022 football season. Throughout the year of 2021, I have linked with numerous celebrities doing more custom art such as all of Strange Music artists, rapper 50 cent, mixed 93.3 talk show host Rocket and Teresa in the morning, famous TikTok star Coco Blake and my most recent accomplishment bringing you up to date was working with Kansas City Chiefs fastest receiver, Tyreek Hill. When working with Tyreek Hill, I was picked to do his custom cleats for his local foundation while also making some custom art for his family as well. I believe this is just the start of my celebrity fashion designing career. |
